NEMO CAT 5 Ruta Maya Canoe Team at it Again – On Saturday February 18, 2023 the National Emergency Management Organization-NEMO canoe team partook in one of the Ruta Maya practice races, being held from Burrell Boom to Belize City. The efforts of partaking in such race helps to sensitize the Belizean population on the importance of Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change. When the National Ruta Maya race is held, you will be sure to see the Department Staff engaging in different information sharing presentation and pamphlets.
