NEMO FIRST AID TRAINING

The National Emergency Management Organization in collaboration with the Belize Red Cross Association, have been conducting a series of training in First Aid in Belize City and Belmopan for Public Officers, NEMO Staff, and Local Village Leaders over the past two weeks. The training is designed to enhance these individuals’ capabilities whilst performing disaster response duties; where they will now be able to assist, and/or provide immediate and life saving assistance to injured persons, when needed, before they are taken to a medical facility, or before professional help arrives on the scene. The First Aid training will continue countrywide with participation from other public officers and community leaders throughout Belize. ‪#‎SavingLIFE‬
