Heavy rains and thunderstorm on Friday 17th, Saturday 18th  and Sunday 19th of June, 2016 caused flash floods in the villages of Progresso, Libertad, Santa Clara, Louisville, San Narciso, and San Roman as reported by the community leaders.The water receded quickly in San Narciso, San Roman, and Progresso.
People, homes, livelihoods, infrastructure, industry, and services were affected: Thirty-eight (38) families in the villages as follows: Libertad(30 families), Santa Clara(06 families),Louisville(02 families).NEMO department have provided food packs, cleaning supplies and mattresses to the above mentioned families.
